Kathleen (Kathee) Austin is principal in a number of successful investment, marketing, media, publishing and technology related businesses and is CEO of AZhttp, Inc.
Kathee has served as board member, officer and founding board member on a variety of non-profit and executive boards including Arizona High Tech Talent Partnership (AZhttp) in its early days as a non-profit organization, Arizona Internet Professionals Association (AZIPA), and Arizona Telecommunications Community Computing (AzTeC), which was Arizona’s freenet, a text-based Internet service provider sponsored by Arizona State University.
Believing in giving back to the communities where she lives and works, she provides free domain name registration and web hosting to many Phoenix area non-profit organizations and sponsors local arts, community, education, math, science and technology related programs.
Since 1985, Kathee has served in both contracting and consulting roles for organizations such as Arizona State University, Motorola, and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) organizations such as Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) and Radio and Wireless Symposium. She successfully applied her experience with conferences, planning and development, copywriting, peer review, project management, technical publications and training to meet the unique needs of many diverse organizations.
In 2002, Kathee formed Arizona High Tech Talent Partnership in order to satisfy the diverse needs of high-tech professional organizations by providing consulting, resources and manpower for a wide variety of commercial entities. In 2005, she incorporated as AZhttp, Inc. with her husband Bill Austin, doing business as an advertising, marketing and public relations agency utilizing their proprietary systems engineering principles.
